About The Position

The Billing Specialist primary responsibilities include all aspects of the billing process (includes but is not limited to claim creation, claim scrubbing and submission, payment posting, rejection management, Accounts Receivable follow up, sending of statements, collection management and Medical Record duties) and cross trains to be familiar enough to perform each separate function. Attendance is an essential job function. This position requires compliance with 1st Choice Healthcare's compliance standards, including its Standards of Conduct, Compliance Program, and policies and procedures. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus.
• Excellent computer skills is a must
• Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.
• This is a Safety Sensitive position(the use of a Medical Marijuana card is prohibited according to Act 593).
• Facial Piercing NOT Allowed

Nice To Haves

• Medical billing experience is preferred
• Knowledge of Electronic medical records a plus!
