The Billing Compliance Clerk is responsible for reviewing and verifying all documentation pertaining to a customer's vehicle purchase to ensure that all information is accurate and in line with Asbury compliance guidelines. This role involves examining contracts for conformity to specified requirements, reviewing and verifying all paperwork and deal jackets, and ensuring that all deals in the deal queue are free of errors. The clerk will also verify that all documents are signed and completed accurately, process paperwork in a timely manner, reconcile schedules, post new and used deals to accounting books, issue checks for lien payoffs, and communicate with the Accounting Manager to resolve any issues. The position requires an understanding of deadlines and the ability to apply an appropriate sense of urgency to all tasks.
