Join our team members who have strong work ethic, positive attitudes, and support each other thru collaborative teamwork We pride ourselves in being compassionate and empathic to our patients and team Here’s What You Need High School Diploma or Equivalent (required) Billing Experience in a Health Care Environment (strongly preferred) Healthcare experience (preferred) Maintain daily billing work-ques, assist patients with billing questions and concerns and forward to appropriate billing departments for all of our satellite clinics Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills Demonstrate effective customer service and communication skills Proficient computer skills Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Billing Specialist I process Coordinate copies of medical documentation with physician charges to support billing to third-party payers. File and enter billing for patients into system and analyzes patient accounts to ensure billing is accurate. Resolve routine patient billing inquiries and problems, handling follow-up questions from patients, resolving discrepancies or errors. Review medical coding as necessary and enters patient charges into billing applications. Perform other duties as assigned.
