About The Position

Aeroflow Health is seeking a Billing Specialist I for the Mom and Baby division, which specializes in providing maternity-related medical equipment billed through insurance. This position will follow up on unpaid claims and assist with developing improvements to our collections processes. The role is remote and offers a starting pay of $20-21/hr. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Outstanding written and verbal communication
• General computer and email proficiency

Nice To Haves

• Medical Billing experience is strongly preferred
• Experience with performing data analysis

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze denied claims, while also addressing the root cause
• Investigate and report on trends associated to unpaid claims
• Find innovative solutions to problems
• Interpret Insurance guidelines, fee schedules, contracts, etc. to ensure compliance
• Respond to any incoming correspondence
• Maintain individual metrics
• Assist the Customer Experience team with incoming phone calls to the billing department, if needed
• Perform other duties as required
• Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality
• Regular and reliable attendance as assigned by your schedule
