About The Position

The Billing Representative is responsible for generating, reviewing, and transmitting claims for hospital-based services to third-party payors. This role involves collaborating across Revenue Cycle departments to ensure that billing edits and other up-front billing-related issues are resolved completely and efficiently. The Billing Representative reports to the Manager of Hospital Billing. This position is remote and allows for work from home.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED.
• One (1) year of previous related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience, preferably with a focus in billing.
• None required by law for licensure/certification.

Nice To Haves

• At least two (2) years of previous related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience, preferably with a focus in billing.
• Prior Epic experience preferred.
