Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day billing process for respective team line of business focus area(s) ensuring billing goals are achieved. Responsible for coordinating and organizing schedules, processes, and procedures for the timely billing of the firm’s services. Responsible for the teams’ day-to-day task management, performance, and driving accountability toward key performance indicators. Meet with team members, ensuring compliance to standard billing practices, resolving complex billing issues/questions, and education of primary billers and functional leads. Understand and be able to articulate the impact/effects of all financial concepts related to billing as well as impact to the firms standardized reporting. Independently investigates complex billing issues and processes invoice adjustments to ensure invoice and margin accuracy. In collaboration with the Billing Manager, cultivate seamless and highly effective working relationships, interoperability, and lines of communication with the Firm’s applicable Primary Billers and Functional Leads, and finance peers. Supervisory duties include connecting with team members regularly, driving performance and ongoing development of skills. Ongoing performance management (goal setting, feedback, performance assessment) Skills development (experience, exposure, education) - Supports employees with the development of knowledge, skills, and abilities by working to help gain exposure through on-the-job experiences, alignment of work, learning opportunities and connectivity to others. Utilization/productivity – works with employee to monitor personal metrics, help align to LOB and firm expectations and monitors for issues or gaps. Long-term career coaching and development.
