Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
  • 3 years of medical billing experience
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency with numbers and comfort with financial data
  • Ability to research and resolve billing issues independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experience motivating others and supporting team processes
  • Ability to use computerized databases and billing platforms effectively
  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Associate’s Degree
  • ICD Certification

Responsibilities

  • Perform full‑cycle AR functions including order entry, claims submission, editing, and follow‑up
  • Conduct individual patient account follow‑up, including eligibility issues, unresponded claims, denials, and payment collection
  • Answer inbound client and customer service calls and resolve billing inquiries
  • Follow up with clients regarding missing billing information and past‑due invoices
  • Apply manual and electronic payments and complete associated tasks accurately
  • Review and interpret EOBs and insurance denials to resolve outstanding billing issues
  • Maintain accurate logs, records, and documentation
  • Use computerized databases and billing systems to research information and complete daily work
  • Support training of team members when needed
  • Assist other subsidiaries with billing and AR functions as required
