About The Position

Summit Athletic Club of St. George, UT is looking to hire both Part Time Billing/Collections Agents to ensure that we always have the funds necessary to continue serving our members. This position offers $17.00/hour with commission, depending on experience. You'll love being a part of the supportive Summit family. Requirements

• Relevant Experience in Collections
• CPR/AED certified (or willing to become certified)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Basic math skills
• Organized and able to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Honest, trustworthy, and discreet with confidential information
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Known as a peacemaker and a problem solver
• Enjoy interacting with people
• Patient and tactful

Nice To Haves

• Any collections experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure that invoices are paid on time and that all charges and records are accurate.
• Keep track of the money owed to the club, prepare invoices, and update records.
• Contact members about and collect outstanding balances.
• Process transactions such as payments, corrections, and reversals.
• Maintain accurate and organized collection files.
• Determine when to take further action on delinquent accounts.
• Prepare reports on billing activity using accurate data.
• Greet members at the front desk and answer phones.
• Make sure that members are aware of any outstanding debts and contact them to resolve billing/payment issues as needed.
• Process credit card payments over the phone.
• Answer questions and explain invoices clearly and calmly.
