About The Position

TNT Crane & Rigging, Inc. Position: Billing Clerk Location: San Antonio Reports to: Office Manager TNT is looking to add experienced full-time Billing Clerk to our growing Branch. Summary: The billing clerk position is accountable for creating invoices, update customer files. As a billing clerk, you must be accurate and reliable in handling accounts and documents. Being good at math and a high degree of organizational ability are essential due to the great amount of financial information. The goal is to contribute to the accurate preparation of bills receivable and safeguard the company's income. Online Billing and daily Invoice submissions.

Requirements

High School Diploma and relevant work experience.
3-5 years of proven billing experience.
A minimum of a year experience in billing refineries or construction industries.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Pass a drug screen and background check
Proficient in Microsoft Applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work productively and effectively in a team setting
Focused on process improvement and achieving team and Company goals
Must be a self-starter
Ability to handle large volumes of work
Ability to work onsite at refineries for large turnarounds, if needed
Must be able to work under little or no supervisor and still achieve desired results

Nice To Haves

Advanced Accounting degree Preferred.
Understanding of law and legal procedures relating to accounting

Responsibilities

Issue invoices to customers through email or various invoice submission portals
Update customer files with issued invoices
Create reports and present to managers
Develop, review and submit cost reports in a timely manner
Review accuracy of invoices prior to submission by performing various checks
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
Interpret contract language for verification of labor, material and equipment rates for various customers
Provide management with daily status of completed functions
Communicate effectively within the company in order to resolve client inquiries
May perform such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

Submit all invoices daily.
