EOE/VEVRAA Overview East Penn is currently seeking a Billing Clerk to work in the Kutztown Wire & Cable (KWC) Plant. The Billing Clerk is responsible for preparing accurate shipping documentation, coordinating carrier scheduling, and maintaining detailed records to support efficient and timely product shipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Confirm packing lists for shipment and create required paperwork using Crescent One.
  • Generate shipping labels.
  • Prepare and print bills of lading.
  • Print packing slips for customers.
  • Contact carriers to schedule truck pickups and deliveries.
  • Enter shipping data into customer portals accurately and promptly.
  • Manually bill orders into the mainframe system.
  • Prepare export paperwork and file orders as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of ship dates and shipment details.
  • Perform general clerical duties to support the department.
  • Maintain regular attendance and work mandatory overtime when required.
  • Produce high‑quality work while following proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
