About The Position

This is a temporary position requiring the employee to perform a wide variety of credit and customer service functions for the accounting department. Position is projected to last approximately 12 to 16 months.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • One to two years related experience and/or a combination of both.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to type and use keyboards accurately.
  • Knowledge of Database software, internet software, order processing systems, spreadsheet software, and word processing software.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to speak a foreign language.
  • Previous experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with dispatch, sales, and billing to resolve customer issues as they may arise.
  • Research accounts with disputes and make the appropriate adjustments.
  • Prepare ticketed material sales for invoicing.
  • Perform customer service, research and correct any inaccurate invoicing.
  • Maintenance of files and catalogs, faxing, payment identification, and mailing.
  • Other duties as assigned per supervisor.
