About The Position

Lakeview Center provides comprehensive behavioral health care to adults and children with mental illnesses, drug and alcohol dependencies and intellectual disabilities. Across Northwest Florida, our services range from residential treatment to outpatient counseling, psychiatry, trauma care, treatments for substance misuse and 24/7 support for those with serious mental illnesses. To perform medical necessity and benefit review requests in accordance with national standards, contractual requirements, and a member’s benefit coverage. To Monitor and maintain census needs and informed all parties of insurance and documentation compliance. Pull team meetings as designed by the program leaders. Inform teams of billing and or payor sources need to comply with each source requirement. Act as the Facilitator coordinator for day-to-day needs of staff and program.

Requirements

  • Associate (AA) degree.
  • High school diploma or GED with three (3) years related experience may be substituted.
  • 1+ year experience in a utilization management team within managed care setting is preferred
  • Must have good oral and written skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Adaptive to a high pace and changing environment- flexibility in assignment.
  • Proficient in Utilization Review process including benefit interpretation, contract language, medical and policy review and administrative support.
  • Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year experience in a utilization management team within managed care setting is preferred
