About The Position

The Billing and Posting Resolution Provider is responsible for delivering TruBridge services to healthcare customers, focusing on the coordination of business office activities such as patient billing, collections, and insurance claims preparation. This role emphasizes maintaining quality customer service, ensuring compliance with established procedures, and managing the billing process effectively.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hospital billing experience, including time outside of TruBridge.
  • Surgical billing experience preferred.
  • Experience in CPT and ICD-10 coding preferred.
  • Experience in filing claim appeals with insurance companies for maximum reimbursement preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow through on issues to resolution.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare financial services.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate business office functions and personnel, including patient billing, credit and collections, and data entry.
  • Recommend new processes and changes in current processes.
  • Implement controls to ensure appropriate submission, billing, and collections are in accordance with established procedures.
  • Follow up on third-party approvals, billing, and collection of overdue accounts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing by staff members according to established procedures and third-party requirements.
  • Meet production and quality assurance standards consistently.
  • Maintain quality customer service by adhering to company policies and customer-specific procedures.
  • Participate in company-offered education opportunities to update job knowledge.
  • Protect customer information by maintaining confidentiality.
  • Process miscellaneous paperwork and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Assist manager in managing employees, including coaching, training, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure employee compliance with dress code, attendance, and other company policies.
  • Assist with backlog billing projects and new contract implementation.
  • Review claims to ensure edits are set up correctly.
  • Fill in as a Biller when needed.
