The Town of Apex invites applications for the position of Billing and Collections Manager. This role involves specialized supervisory and administrative work supervising the utility billing and collections functions for the Town. The position includes financial reporting and analysis duties, as well as testing and designing improvements in software systems utilized. The employee will manage and direct activities involving utility billing and collections, handle customer inquiries, and coordinate with other departments within the Town. The employee reports directly to the Finance Director and must demonstrate considerable tact, courtesy, and diplomacy in public contact functions, especially in complaint resolution.
