About The Position

EMR, a leader in commercial kitchen repair, has a Biller position open in our Rosedale, MD office. This person supports the A/R & Billing function through the collection and maintenance of COD accounts, motor shop accounts, and customer relationships. Purchase orders will be obtained from customers as needed. All aspects of customer invoicing are handled as assigned. Applicant must be very detail oriented, possess good organizational skills, and enjoy working in fast paced, team oriented environment. Work hours are M-F 8am-4:30pm. Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and billing preferred.
  • Experience in the use of Outlook, Word, & Excel.
  • Demonstrates customer service, interpersonal communication, and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work in a team environment a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in service/repair or related industry is preferred.
  • General knowledge of the accounting process is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Customer accounts are maintained and updated.
  • Credits and other on-account money are reconciled regularly.
  • Credits and adjustments to customer’s accounts and invoices are entered and posted on a weekly basis.
  • Accounts are collected in a professional & courteous manner.
  • Disputes are recorded and the appropriate manager is notified.
  • New customer billing locations are added to the computer system.
