About The Position
Medical Biller responsible for accurate billing, coding, claim submission, reimbursement follow‑up, and maintaining financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Experience as a Medical Biller
- Knowledge of billing processes, coding standards, insurance guidelines
- Proficiency with billing software
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with HIPAA
Nice To Haves
- Billing/coding certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Review/re‑code medical procedures, diagnoses, and treatments (ICD‑10, CPT, HCPCS)
- Submit insurance claims
- Follow up on unpaid/denied claims
- Communicate with insurers, patients, providers
- Maintain billing records and HIPAA compliance
- Stay current on coding rules
- Assist with patient billing inquiries and payment plans
