We’re looking for a Bill of Materials Specialist to manage and maintain critical product data while supporting inventory optimization across the supply chain. In this role, you’ll ensure the accuracy of master data within the ERP system, lead BOM development and maintenance, and partner across Finance, Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, and Procurement. Your work will directly impact production efficiency, inventory management, and overall supply chain performance.

Responsibilities

  • Own master data accuracy and integrity, maintaining product data in ERP systems for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
  • Build and maintain bills of materials (BOMs), ensuring accurate multi-level structures aligned with manufacturing capabilities and product requirements
  • Support product setup and system configuration, entering and validating data including material usage, units of measure, and custom product structures
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enable accurate product builds, partnering with Marketing, Planning, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure alignment
  • Ensure cost and material flow accuracy, working with Procurement and Finance to maintain up-to-date costing and supply inputs
  • Identify and resolve process inefficiencies, challenging gaps that impact product setup, data accuracy, or customer delivery performance
  • Manage product lifecycle data (PLC), maintaining item status and restrictions within the ERP system
  • Analyze and manage inventory performance, supporting review of excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory across the network
  • Partner on inventory optimization strategies, collaborating with Distribution, Finance, and Supply Chain to improve warehouse capacity and inventory health
  • Monitor inventory metrics and trends, helping drive data-informed decisions that improve supply chain efficiency
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and projects, contributing to broader operational and system improvements
