Savio House: Position: Family Wellness Therapist Join Savio in our mission to keep families together! We are actively seeking a bilingual clinician dedicated to making a difference in our community by providing therapeutic services to those who need them most. Through a vibrant collaboration between Savio and a local grassroots community program, you will bridge two vital systems of care. Focus: Utilizing family preservation techniques and trauma-informed treatments(TF-CBT and TST), we work together to keep children and youth with their families when a child safety concern has been identified. This position serves the Denver area. About Savio: Founded over 50 years ago, Savio has been centered around driving change and healing through evidence based therapeutic treatment to children, adolescents, and their families. We believe that by stepping into a child’s every-day life, a therapist can understand the root causes of a family’s dysfunction and prescribe the right treatment. We drop barriers to access by providing services to families in their homes, and have teams in Denver and the surrounding areas, Colorado Springs, and in more rural cities all across the state. Requirements

  • Master’s in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy or related field
  • DORA registration to provide therapy such as LPCC, MFTC, SWC, NLC
  • Be flexible and self-motivated.
  • Have a passion for engaging caregivers that are facing challenging and complex issues that are impacting their children’s well-being.
  • Be comfortable with community-based therapy
  • Be comfortable working a non-traditional work schedule

Responsibilities

  • Supporting caregivers in creating an environment that promotes safety and stability for their children (0-18 years of age)
  • Engaging primary caregivers in active, change-orientated treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to progress and connecting them with services and supports.
  • Collaborating with families and allowing them to take the lead in setting treatment goals
  • Keeping or reuniting children with their families by supporting families in meeting their treatment goals
