Conduct new hire on boarding group training as necessary leading the communication activities between the Nord Spanish and English-speaking employees. Train and support shop floor employees with an initial emphasis on the bilingual employees recently hired. Provide leadership and training to all Support positions, while advocating for the shop employees in accordance with NORD culture. Provide training on powered industrial trucks and safely operate all types of powered industrial trucks at NORD. Work independently and collaboratively to align training execution with production goals and continuous improvement targets. Must be adaptable and responsive to changing training priorities. Conduct burst trainings with employees. Provide job, product, and cross-department training to all shop employees. Provide guidance and support as the go-to person for shop employees. Read, write and use job instructions to train shop employees Support safety on the shop floor by complying with and monitoring adherence to procedures and policies. Drive improvement through JI Training of the shop floor processes and execution of NORDPro principles. Collaborate with the Production Training Supervisor, leads, and supervisors to ensure new employees receive proper guidance and training. Assist in scheduling, coordinating and tracking shop employees as they go through the training programs. Assist and perform tasks within various departments when not conducting training. Perform other tasks as assigned. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be fully fluent in both English and Spanish, both written and verbal communications. Post High School Degree preferred Experience: Previous bilingual assignments preferred but not required. Proven professional interpersonal skills. Experience with NORD production processes and products, preferably with exposure to multiple production departments. Strong professional interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Hands-on knowledge of shop departments such as gearbox, motors, inventory, or shipping is preferred, and forklift experience is preferred. Skills and Key Attributes: Ability to learn quickly and become a subject matter expert on NORD's production processes. They must be approachable, positive, and consistently embody the NORD culture and mission. The role requires willingness to train across the four main production departments and beyond as new training opportunities arise. Strong people skills, the ability to identify root causes and propose solutions, and exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities are essential. The candidate must be able to work independently and effectively train and present material using job instructions. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are required, and basic proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word is preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to stand on feet and move around for up to 10-12 hours per day.
