About The Position
Care and Connections for Families provides in-home counseling and support services to families whose children are experiencing a mental health crisis. Sheppard Pratt provides crisis intervention services that address the family’s immediate needs. We also help pave the way toward a long-term, stable family environment with support services. What to expect. We are seeking a bilingual (proficient in English and Spanish), licensed social worker or counselor to provide mental health services. You will work closely with in-home stabilizers to develop and implement service plans for youth and their families from Central and South America who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Requirements
- Must possess one of the following at time of hire: Licensed Certificated Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C) Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
- Must speak fluent English and Spanish.
- A driver’s license with 3-points or less and access to an insured vehicle.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with at-risk adolescents and families is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Providing clinical assessments and treatment services to assigned clients and their families.
- Maintaining at least the required minimum case load (10 clients) as interpreted by our county contract monitor.
- Completing all required documentation in a timely manner and ensuring maintenance of complete clinical record as directed by policies and procedures.
