We are looking for teachers who are experts in their content area, are committed to improving student achievement, and will bring enthusiasm to the classroom. To be considered for an interview, please apply! We are seeking highly motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic certified educators for the 2025-26 school year. We are accepting resumes for bilingual teachers certified by the State of New Jersey to teach in our bilingual classrooms at various grade levels and content areas, in Spanish or Turkish and English. Viable candidates must hold certificates issued by the New Jersey Department of Education, or meet the requirements for certification, with an endorsement in Bilingual Bicultural Education AND in one or more of the following areas. We are most in need of Spanish speaking bilingual teachers, though we also have a need for Turkish, Bangla, and Arabic speaking bilingual teachers at times as well. Certificates must be issued prior to beginning position. Preschool through Grade 3 (Turkish) Kindergarten through Grade 6 (Turkish or Spanish) Middle School Math (Spanish or Arabic) ESL (Bangla) Middle School ELA (Spanish) Biology (Spanish) Chemistry (Spanish) Mathematics (Spanish) English (Spanish) For potential future positions: Social Studies Middle School Social Studies Middle School Science Physics Physical Science

Requirements

  • Must hold New Jersey Bilingual certificate with an instructional certificate in line with the content/grade level appropriate for the position held
  • Knowledge of the NJSLS and NJSLA
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis and research related to learning and children needing to learn English as a second language.
  • Ability to analyze and use data to drive instruction
  • Experience working with students
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character
  • Must be a critical thinker, problem solver, and respect others
  • Must be computer literate and able to use interactive computer instructional software
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, and the community
  • Meet such alternatives to above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
