Deliver direct instruction to individual students or small groups, making sure everyone feels included and successful. Provide personalized support to students with special needs, adapting methods materials meet individual learning styles and abilities, and fostering an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Able to perform job duties that include walking, standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and keeping up with active students.
- Must obtain and pass a background check through NYSED.
- Bilingual Paraprofessionals must demonstrate proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in English AND one (or more) other language(s).
- Ready to bring positive energy and passion every day!
