Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency required.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Previous school-based evaluation experience preferred.
• Active Illinois SLP license (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech endorsement (or eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings.
• Conduct bilingual speech and language evaluations.
• Ensure services are culturally and linguistically appropriate.
• Interpret assessment results and develop clear, compliant reports.
• Provide thoughtful recommendations to support student achievement.
