About The Position

Easterseals Florida is seeking a dynamic self-starter, who is an organized and detail-oriented individual for a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Program Support Specialist position in Tampa for our Incredible Years program. The Incredible Years program supports children from ages 3 to 8 years old and their families, providing group therapy sessions to aid in mental health intervention. The Program Support Specialist will work with the Program Manager and Group Leaders to arrange, coordinate, and set up group sessions and attend community events to gain membership, assist in marketing the program and provide details about the Incredible Years Program. This position also entails managing all intake paperwork & assessment information, maintaining data in agency platforms, and managing general program assistant duties. They will also oversee data collection and facilitate group sessions as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Early Education, or related field
  • 1 to 3 years' experience working in community outreach services, customer service with families and children, or within schools/education
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English required, fluent in speaking, reading, and writing both languages
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to accurately enter data into a computer database system (fast and accurate typing/keyboarding skills)
  • Ability to work independently
  • An energetic and professional individual who will promote a positive, respectful and team-based environment
  • Ability to meet Easterseals Florida approved driver requirements, as travel is required

Responsibilities

  • Work in collaboration with community partners to host group sessions
  • Assist with marketing and program promotion with community agencies and families
  • Contact families referred into the program, ensuring all callbacks are made promptly, explaining program and philosophy, verifying all intake data, and connecting them to next available cohort
  • Assist in managing intake system data for accuracy and to avoid duplication
  • Maintain inventory and supplies for the program
  • Oversee data collection and facilitate group sessions as needed
  • Assist in and attend community outreach events at schools, family information fairs, open houses, disability resource events, and family nights
  • Assist with facilitating parent or child group sessions, when needed
