About The Position
Practice of medicine within the scope of license, training, credentialing and in accordance with the current standards of care and quality criteria adopted by PrimeCare. See patients in PrimeCare clinics during office hours. This is a full-spectrum family medicine practice that serves all ages and conditions. Participates in and provides after-hours call coverage as assigned. Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury. Order, perform and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients’ condition. Complete charting on an electronic health record (Athena) and required paperwork in a timely manner. Participate in health center and provider meetings.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited educational program with a master’s degree in nursing or doctorate degree in nursing or physician assistant degree.
- Board certification in specialty must be kept current.
- Unrestricted license to practice as an APRN or PA within the State of Illinois, Illinois Controlled Substance license,a nd federal DEA license.
- Current provider-level CPR.
- Must be bilingual in Spanish/English
