About The Position

Join our team as a Bilingual (Spanish) Customer Service Specialist at Carrington Mortgage Services, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about helping others and possess strong communication skills. You will be responsible for managing a high volume of incoming calls and inquiries related to existing real estate mortgage loans. Your primary focus will be on handling inbound calls and making outbound calls to borrowers who are due for the current month. Your goal will be to resolve customer issues promptly while ensuring that you provide accurate and timely information in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. As a Customer Service Specialist I, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling the least complex inquiries and escalating more complicated issues to qualified team members. You will be expected to perform all duties in compliance with the company's policies and procedures, as well as all relevant US state and federal laws and regulations. This entry-level role offers a starting pay of $20.00 per hour, with an additional $1.50 per hour for bilingual skills, plus the opportunity to earn a monthly incentive bonus. In this position, you will work one week in the office and three weeks from home on a rotating basis after your training period. Your responsibilities will include answering calls via an Automated Call Distribution system (ACD), delivering accurate information to callers, tracking and following up on customer inquiries, and documenting call details in our mortgage servicing system. You will also be responsible for collecting payments when necessary and ensuring that all customer interactions are handled in a courteous and professional manner, striving for first-call resolution whenever feasible.
