About The Position

The Bilingual (Spanish) Community Manager at Acento Real Estate Partners is responsible for overseeing the operations of three small residential properties in Hyattsville, MD. This role focuses on providing exceptional service to residents, managing leasing and maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations. The Community Manager will play a vital role in maintaining positive relationships with residents and efficiently handling administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Property Manager.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate, administrative procedures, and practices.
  • Excellent conflict management skills to effectively resolve disputes between residents or with external parties.
  • Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to leasing contracts and eviction procedures.
  • Exceptional customer relationship management skills to provide excellent service to residents.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using property management software OneSite and knowledge in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Adobe.

  • ARM or CAM Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the residential community, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting unit inspections and managing security deposit returns.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident information, lease agreements, work orders, and other relevant documentation.
  • Oversee the collection of rent payments and ensure timely processing.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to address repair and maintenance needs promptly.
  • Enforce community rules and regulations to maintain a safe and harmonious living environment.
  • Stay updated on Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all interactions with residents.
