The Proviso Children's Advocacy Center (PCAC), via the Illinois Children's Advocacy Center Act, provides services to child victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, and/or violence and their non-offending caregivers and siblings. Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Social Worker preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred
  • A bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Services is required
  • The use of a personal vehicle is required to perform field service work during the shift

Responsibilities

  • Case Management: Develop, implement, and monitor individualized service plans for children, families, or adults.
  • Client Support: Interview clients to assess needs and offer support through challenges like unemployment, poverty, or abuse.
  • Resource Coordination: Connect clients and/or family with community resources.
  • Collaboration: Working with social workers, healthcare professionals, schools, and government agencies to ensure comprehensive
