About The Position
The Proviso Children's Advocacy Center (PCAC), via the Illinois Children's Advocacy Center Act, provides services to child victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, and/or violence and their non-offending caregivers and siblings. Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Social Worker preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred
- A bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Services is required
- The use of a personal vehicle is required to perform field service work during the shift
Responsibilities
- Case Management: Develop, implement, and monitor individualized service plans for children, families, or adults.
- Client Support: Interview clients to assess needs and offer support through challenges like unemployment, poverty, or abuse.
- Resource Coordination: Connect clients and/or family with community resources.
- Collaboration: Working with social workers, healthcare professionals, schools, and government agencies to ensure comprehensive
