The position involves collaborating and advising members on finding the right solutions for their borrowing needs through various access points such as in-branch, over the phone, and video appointments. The role includes providing education and consultation on loans, accurately interviewing members, and inputting loan applications. The candidate will perform credit bureau reviews, possess extensive knowledge of all lending products, calculate lending ratios, and ensure all lending paperwork is accurately collected and processed. Additionally, the position requires providing deposit solutions, advising members on deposit products, and opening various accounts such as savings, checking, certificates, IRAs, and money markets. The candidate will serve as a primary contact for new accounts, build relationships with new members, and utilize online relationship management tools to effectively onboard them. The role also involves identifying cross-selling opportunities, making appropriate referrals, and maximizing partner relationships to deepen member relationships. The candidate will educate members on other products and provide financial education through excellent member service, utilizing consultative communication skills in all interactions. The position requires balancing the benefits to both members and the credit union, providing peer observations and feedback, and assisting members with various services such as online banking and Personal Teller Machines (PTMs).
