Position Overview: Provide universal mental health supports and early interventions, including distress screening, de-escalation, and fostering student resilience. Coordinate student access to sustainable, culturally competent community services and crisis hotlines while managing a dedicated caseload across 1–2 school sites. Build cross-system partnerships to improve school-wide mental health programs and ensure a positive, violence-free environment. Execute school policies regarding mental health concerns, including high-stakes protocols for suicide prevention and postvention support.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or a related field
• Active Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) License
• Proficiency in Spanish (Bilingual) to support the Montebello community (Highly Preferred)
