The Florida Blue Center Member Advisor's primary responsibilities are in the servicing of existing members through issue resolution and product consulting as well as in obtaining new and renewal business. The role involves providing a customer-friendly service experience for customers with questions or issues related to healthcare, health insurance, or related topics. The advisor will resolve member issues including all product and billing inquiries, educate members on self-service tools, guide members to value-based providers, and host customer video appointments. Additionally, the advisor will generate leads for new sales and sales of replacement and add-on products, identify and contact at-risk customers, and develop and execute retention strategies with solutions that meet customer needs. The position also includes selling health and ancillary insurance products to Florida individual consumers and small groups, analyzing prospect needs, conducting plan comparisons, facilitating application processes, and monitoring enrollment processes.
