About The Position

The Bilingual Sales Account Manager at Cargill Meat Solutions Corp is responsible for developing customer sales strategies and building relationships within the protein distribution business, focusing on retail, foodservice, and processors in Southern California, Las Vegas, and Arizona. This role requires effective communication with customers, primarily through traditional and video telephone methods, to identify needs and suggest appropriate products and services that enhance revenue and profitability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years of sales, customer service-related work experience.
  • Proficient in the use of basic business software (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in Spanish (written and verbal).

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience selling products in a business to the business sales environment.
  • Sales and buying experience within the protein industry (Beef, pork, seafood or poultry).
  • Experience with SAP, Power BI & Sales Force (or similar platforms).
  • Understanding of the protein market trends.

Responsibilities

  • Align with customer partners to sell products, quoting and negotiating product pricing within pricing function guidelines.
  • Develop customer sales strategies to meet customer goals and objectives.
  • Process customer orders and manage overall order fill rate and on-time delivery service.
  • Gather and communicate channel, market, customer or competitive information and intelligence and interact with team on strategy and pricing functions.
  • Manage contracts and risk with pricing and trade promotions teams then resolve and coordinate the investigation of claims and disputes.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
