About The Position

Requirements

  • Proven problem-solving skills and initiative in project management.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations, including those with limited English proficiency.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with NVivo or equivalent qualitative data analysis software.
  • Familiarity with statistical software such as R or STATA.
  • Skilled in using collaborative software programs like Google Drive and Zoom.
  • Prior research experience in social science, public health, or medical research.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and administration of survey instruments in English and Spanish.
  • Conduct participant recruitment including screening calls and consenting into studies.
  • Plan and support meetings, including scheduling and note-taking.
  • Track project plans and budgetary expenditures to ensure timely completion.
  • Schedule research team meetings and update project plans accordingly.
  • Draft IRB applications and modifications for research projects under supervision.
  • Draft regulatory and project reports.
  • Review and audit case reports for accurate data collection and compliance.
  • Assist in building research instruments using standard survey tools like Redcap and Qualtrics.
  • Work with PI and research staff in data synthesis and interpretation.
  • Conduct literature reviews on assigned research topics and summarize results.
  • Contribute to preliminary data analysis of quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Update research materials and submit to IRB for approval.
  • Assist in designing outreach materials and educational tools for research activities.
  • Coordinate collaborative research activities with community partners and students.
  • May supervise students engaged in related research studies.
