About The Position
As the Bilingual Admissions Representative at Front Range Community College (FRCC), you will play a crucial role in promoting the college's programs and services to prospective students, particularly within the Latinx/Hispanic community. Under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Recruitment, your primary responsibility will be to educate potential students about the various opportunities available at FRCC, guiding them through the enrollment process from initial inquiry to class registration. This position requires a proactive approach to student recruitment, where you will engage with high school students, parents, and community organizations to foster relationships that encourage enrollment. Your role will involve participating in college fairs, conducting campus tours, and managing a caseload of prospective students. You will be expected to communicate regularly with these students through various channels, including phone calls, texts, and emails, ensuring they are informed about the next steps in their application process. Additionally, you will connect students with support resources at FRCC to facilitate their successful transition into college life. The position also entails organizing recruitment events, such as Campus Preview Days and Open Houses, and collaborating with community partners to enhance outreach efforts. You will serve as a cultural broker for the Spanish-speaking community, providing interpretation services and hosting events in Spanish to help prospective students and their families understand the value of higher education. This role requires a strong on-campus presence, with occasional remote work and travel to local high schools and community events.
