About The Position

Under the general direction of the Program Director, the Prevention of Sexual Abuse (PSA) Compliance Manager is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of policies and procedures related to Preventing, Detecting and Responding to Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment of unaccompanied children (UC). The PSA Compliance Manager ensures program compliance with Interim Final Rule on UAC Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment and PSA policies and procedures, identifies areas of needed improvement and develops plans of action to achieve desired outcomes. The PSA Compliance manager also collects, maintains, and submits monthly, quarterly and annual performance programmatic reports.

Requirements

  • Able to show proof of immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases transmitted by the respiratory route if working directly with unaccompanied children.
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in behavioral sciences, human services or social service fields.
  • Minimum one-year experience working with child welfare standards, best practices, and compliance.
  • Reliable transportation; Valid driver license; Valid vehicle insurance.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Microsoft Word, Excel) and a variety of online database systems.
  • Strong analytical and organization skills and abilities.
  • Must be able to read and interpret policy, procedures and standards.
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team.
  • Must have good written and verbal skills.
  • Must have good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to remain calm and composed in crisis situations.
  • Bilingual: Fluent in English/Spanish with regards to reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension of the spoken language.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, coordinating and facilitating trainings related to the Prevention, Detection and Responsiveness of Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment Involving Unaccompanied Children and ensure annual training requirements are met.
  • Promoting excellence in service implementation and continuous improvement by assessing program service delivery, identifying barriers to effective implementation, and developing action plans to address areas of needed improvement.
  • Collecting data and conducting incident reviews at the conclusion of every investigation of sexual abuse or sexual harassment.
  • Completing monthly, quarterly and annual performance programmatic reports related to UC sexual abuse or sexual harassment, as well as, program quality improvement outcomes.
