The PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT at WRH is a key team member responsible for preparing and maintaining accounting and related rental property records for an assigned portfolio of WRH Realty managed apartment complexes. Ensuring timely distribution of financial and management reports. Completing monthly bank account and balance sheet account reconciliations Assisting with audit related schedules and supporting documentation Completing special projects and monthly tasks related to the entire portfolio Reviewing and approving invoices submitted by property managers Qualifications Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required Applicants must pass an accounting competency test during their first interview to be considered for the position. One to three years of accounting experience. Property management accounting experience is preferred. Proficiency with the operation and use of standard office computers and accounting programs. Experience with Yardi Voyager is a plus. Microsoft Excel experience and proficiency is required. Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work. Communication skills and tact necessary to work with operational staff who are not accountants. Discipline and sufficient time management skills to allow meeting reporting deadlines.
