Requirements

  • 2+ years of safety experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial settings required
  • Bilingual Spanish/English required
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 or 30 a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work with management and employees to identify safety hazards and implement practical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, DEP, and company safety standards in a precast concrete manufacturing environment.
  • Deliver engaging safety presentations for orientations, ongoing training, and plant-wide meetings in both English and Spanish.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across plant operations.
  • Track corrective actions to completion and follow up with responsible team members.
  • Maintain accurate records for OSHA documentation, training, incidents, and corrective actions.
  • Assist with accident, injury, and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis.
  • Coordinate & support safety training for production, yard, and maintenance teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve safety performance and strengthen plant safety culture.
