Requirements
- 2+ years of safety experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial settings required
- Bilingual Spanish/English required
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10 or 30 a plus
Responsibilities
- Work with management and employees to identify safety hazards and implement practical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, DEP, and company safety standards in a precast concrete manufacturing environment.
- Deliver engaging safety presentations for orientations, ongoing training, and plant-wide meetings in both English and Spanish.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across plant operations.
- Track corrective actions to completion and follow up with responsible team members.
- Maintain accurate records for OSHA documentation, training, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Assist with accident, injury, and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis.
- Coordinate & support safety training for production, yard, and maintenance teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve safety performance and strengthen plant safety culture.
