Requirements

Pharm.D. or equivalent from an accredited college/university.
Texas Pharmacist license and Preceptor license, with an Immunization certification.
First Aid / CPR AAHIVP certification or ability to obtain within 18 months.
Minimum two years of healthcare experience; post-graduate residency preferred.
Proficiency in community pharmacy management and patient care in specialized areas like HIV/AIDS and Geriatrics.
Strong technology skills in Windows, Excel, and accounting software.
Superior organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting.
Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
Exemplary communication and customer service skills.
Commitment to confidentiality and sensitive information management.

Responsibilities

Interpret and transcribe medication orders with precision and agility.
Ensure medication appropriateness by assessing diagnoses, allergies, and interactions.

Conduct comprehensive Drug Utilization Reviews for optimal outcomes.
