This is an in person position in a professional healthcare setting where consistency, attention to detail, and excellent communication are essential. This role requires the ability to communicate clearly with both English and Spanish speaking patients, assisting with scheduling, patient questions, and general front desk support. This role includes a 90 day probationary period with no missed days, no late arrivals, and no early departures. Strong attendance is critical to success in this position.

Requirements

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in customer service, scheduling, or data entry
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Clear, professional communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently in an office environment
  • Proven history of reliable attendance and punctuality

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare or medical office experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Answer a high volume of incoming calls throughout the day
  • Assist both English and Spanish speaking patients over the phone and in person
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage intake information
  • Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance details
  • Accurately enter data into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
  • Respond to patient questions regarding appointments and accounts
  • Screen calls and take detailed messages when needed
  • Verify insurance coverage requirements prior to scheduled services
  • Communicate with referral sources to obtain additional information or provide updates
  • Support the team with additional administrative duties as assigned
