About The Position

AMI is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Part time Patient Scheduler / Call Center Agent to join our growing Scheduling team! This position is a great opportunity to apply your customer service skills and make an impact on the patient experience. Part time, 20+ hour per week positions at AMI are eligible for Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, 401k & Profit Sharing. Health benefits are not currently extended with part time positions. Offered rates increase based on years of work experience. The Patient Scheduler / Call Center Agent responsibilities include but are not limited to: Utilizing the computerized patient-scheduling program to accurately schedule appointments for all requested outpatient exams; Provides timely, professional and courteous customer service to all patients calling to make appointments or to inquire about services; Provides patients with information required to ensure that appropriate preparation takes place before the diagnostic study; and makes certain that the patients are aware of the paperwork needed upon arrival at the office; and Performs all other duties as required and assigned. The Part time, 20 hour per week position includes a work schedule of Monday & Wednesday, 7am-5:30pm, and every other Saturday, 8am-12pm. The position is based in the Galloway office location. Schedules are subject to change based on department needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Verbal and written Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills
  • Previous experience in a call center, medical office, or hospital environment
  • Excellent customer service practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Intermediate computers skills
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills with professional phone etiquette

Responsibilities
