Position Summary The Patient Benefit Specialist is responsible for working directly with patients to ensure a clear understanding of insurance coverage, financial responsibilities, and available payment options. Conduct benefit orientation and explain financial requirements Perform financial assessment interviews and screen for coverage/eligibility Verify third-party and other healthcare coverage Assist with program enrollment based on assessment results Enter and maintain accurate benefit information in EHR Support patients with Medicaid applications and redetermination Guide patients through the revenue cycle process and support services
