About The Position

UI Health is dedicated to the pursuit of health equity. UI Health is looking for a Bilingual Ophthalmic Assistant to join our 55th & Pulaski Health Collaborative location. Under the direct supervision of an Ophthalmologist, the ophthalmic assistant collects patient information, updates medical records, performs administrative office tasks, interacts with and educates patients about lenses, contacts, and eye hygiene. The ophthalmic assistant performs some vision tests, measures eye pressure, and performs other minor eye examinations.
