About The Position
The DuPont Clinic is a referral center specializing in all-trimester abortion and ultrasound-guided procedures, catering to patients with abnormal or high-risk pregnancies, as well as those facing complex medical situations that may hinder access to care. Our mission is to provide the highest level of medical care while ensuring a private and individualized experience for each patient. As a Registered Nurse (RN) at the DuPont Clinic, you will play a crucial role in shaping the patient experience and ensuring their safety. The RN is expected to uphold the highest standards of patient safety, be motivated to create a positive patient experience, and strongly support bodily autonomy. Ideally, candidates should be bilingual, as this will enhance communication with our diverse patient population. This position offers opportunities for professional growth, including training in ultrasound, abortion care, and gynecologic care. The RN will work approximately 32 hours a week, with variable hours across four days (Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday), depending on the clinic's schedule. Some late nights and on-call duties will be required 1-2 weeks each month. The role involves maintaining trauma-informed, patient-centered care, providing clinical support, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the RN will participate in team emergency drills, assist in training new staff, and actively promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the clinic. This position is full-time and requires flexibility in scheduling, with no weekend work expected.
