The facility is actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its growing neurology team across clinic and hospital settings in Germantown and Silver Spring, MD. Candidates from Family Medicine or other primary care backgrounds with a strong interest in neurology are encouraged to apply.This full-time, permanent opportunity is ideal for an APP with neurology experience OR Spanish-English bilingual skills. The role includes a mix of outpatient clinic visits and inpatient hospital responsibilities, along with shared call coverage (approximately one weekend per month) . Scheduling and responsibilities are flexible and can be tailored for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Board Certified NP or PA; eligible for Maryland licensure.
• Candidates from Family Medicine or related backgrounds with strong interest in neurology will be considered.
• Spanish-speaking required; bilingual (Spanish-English) strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide neurological care in both outpatient clinics and hospital settings.
• Conduct patient evaluations, follow-ups, and consultations for a range of neurological conditions.
• Collaborate with neurologists, hospital staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Assist in the management of acute and chronic neurological disorders.
• Participate in hospital rounding and shared call coverage.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
• Support patient education and care continuity across settings.
