At LG, we strive to make Life Good for Everyone. We are currently seeking a dynamic Field Planner to join our Material Team at our Home Appliance Factory in Clarksville, TN!

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Microsoft Excel experience.
  • Bilingual (Korean-English).
  • Some occasional international travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the material flow process.
  • Establish and maintain supplier release procedure and supplier banking requirements to ensure an uninterrupted supply of raw materials to meet production requirements.
  • Establish and monitor finished goods inventory levels to ensure on-time compliance to customer release requirements while minimizing carrying and premium freight costs.
  • Review department/plant measurables (customer delivery, supplier delivery, premium freight and inventory) and establish corrective measures for performance enhancement.
  • Stabilize and enhance inventory management.
  • Ensure systemic accuracy of inventory.
  • Rescheduling materials for pull ins (expedites) and push outs (for inventory control).
  • Achievement of daily, monthly and annual team targets.
  • Add to yearly budget and carry out the plan to meet that budget.
  • Align Innovation team to forecast and reduce labor expense, forecast, track and escalate as necessary.
  • Responsible for establishing and promoting a safe working environment and establishing and monitoring compliance activities to support the safety program.
