About The Position

The Bilingual Loan Processor at Dollar Loan Center plays a crucial role in assisting customers with their short-term financial needs. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of previous customer service experience.
  • Computer literate with excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience in lending, cash handling, and collections is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Available to work all regular office hours and overtime as needed.
  • Hard-working and dedicated to the goals of Dollar Loan Center.
  • Familiarity with basic office equipment.
  • Reliable transportation for travel to other office locations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Present a friendly and enthusiastic environment to every customer contact, whether by phone or in person.
  • Greet all prospects and customers warmly and inquire how to assist them.
  • Explain the features and benefits of Dollar Loan Center's programs compared to competitors.
  • Respond to customer inquiries consistently and in line with company expectations.
  • Check the loans pending queue for unprocessed applications every 15 minutes.
  • Use professional language when interacting with customers and co-workers.
  • Request customer service reviews regularly.
  • Analyze loan applications for completeness and accuracy, clarifying any questionable information with the prospect.
  • Verify information and process loan applications within 15 minutes of receipt.
  • Understand and adhere to underwriting guidelines, involving appropriate personnel in decision-making.
  • Provide thorough explanations of contracts for every loan processed.
  • Seek ways to improve loan applications rather than deny them.
  • Remind customers of their credit limits and present options for increases.
  • Understand and explain the DLC Advantage and DLC Challenge clearly.
  • Consistently ask for referral business and make marketing calls to customers daily.
  • Make timely and courteous collection calls on past-due accounts, following company guidelines.
  • Enter clear and concise notes on collection calls, including promise dates, into the system.
  • Calculate customer payments accurately and answer questions regarding due dates and charges.
  • Count money accurately and ensure loan funds are disbursed correctly.
  • Enter all information into the computer accurately and consistently.
  • Balance payment/loan drawers at required time frames and maintain adequate change.
