About The Position

Our Consumer Loan Officer works with members virtually and over the phone to take consumer loan applications. This is a sales role, and this individual is responsible for providing superior member service through the loan application process. Cobalt Credit Union, based in Papillion, Nebraska, employs over 250 team members throughout our twenty-four locations. Requirements

Bilingual skills required
High school graduate / GED required.
2 years of experience in a financial institution required.
2 years of sales experience required.
2 years of customer or member experience required.
1 year of experience working with loans required.
Interviewing techniques are needed along with familiarity of credit union products and services.
Thorough knowledge of loan underwriting standards and guidelines are needed.
Oral and written communication skills.
General PC skills.
Must be able to complete all required paperwork as needed.
Sound judgment skills required.
Ability to organize workflow and meet deadlines.
Keeping abreast of current guidelines is a necessity.
