About The Position

The Bilingual Labor & Employment Specialist- Spanish is responsible for implementing and supporting the Colorado Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) program. This role focuses on providing customer service to participants of the FAMLI program, assisting with inquiries, educating contacts about the program, and guiding them through the self-service system. The position is intended to be 100% remote but may require occasional reporting to a state office based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Four (4) years and six (6) months of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position OR a combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to four (4) years and six (6) months.
  • Bilingual - Read/speak/write in Spanish fluently.
  • Customer service minded with detailed and thorough verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency with the ability to quickly learn new programs and apply new skills.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the FAMLI Statute and Adopted Rules

Responsibilities

  • Provide complete customer service to support participants of the Colorado FAMLI program.
  • Assist with inquiries from around the state regarding the FAMLI program.
  • Educate contacts about the FAMLI program and guide them toward additional resources.
  • Assist with account registration and front-line troubleshooting.
  • Utilize various computer systems and applications in daily work.
  • Provide thorough customer service via telephone, email, and chat.
  • Explain and clarify FAMLI Division policies, regulations, and state laws.
  • Inform participants of their rights and responsibilities.
