Our firm seeks a highly skilled Employment & Personal Injury Paralegal in Texas to join our growing team. This role requires expertise in employment law cases as well as personal injury claims, offering a dynamic and rewarding career opportunity. We are hiring for Bilingual (English & Spanish) Labor & Employment Law Paralegal positions.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certification from an accredited program.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in employment law, and personal injury experience in Texas.
  • Language: Proficiency in both English and Spanish is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and Texas employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA, and labor law regulations.
  • Familiarity with personal injury case processes, including demand drafting, settlement negotiations, and litigation support.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools (LexisNexis, Westlaw) and case management software.
  • Excellent legal writing, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
  • Experience with e-discovery, document review, and trial preparation.
  • Strong client service skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in employment law matters, including workplace disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, wage & hour violations, and compliance matters.
  • Support personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, workplace injuries, and wrongful death claims.
  • Conduct legal research on employment and personal injury laws, statutes, and case precedents.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents such as demand letters, pleadings, discovery responses, employment contracts, and settlement agreements.
  • Organize and manage case files, deadlines, and attorney calendars to ensure timely filings and compliance.
  • Assist with discovery processes, including document review, deposition summaries, and evidence gathering for both employment and personal injury cases.
  • Coordinate witness interviews, expert consultations, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel to facilitate case progression.
  • Assist in litigation support, including e-filing in state and federal courts.
  • Review and summarize medical records, employment documents, and other relevant evidence.
