Temp Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Perform inventory audits and cycle counts. Control inventory levels accordingly through adjustments & variances. Use the ERP system for receipt of company-wide materials. Ensure stocking levels are met and adjusted as needed. Generate purchase orders as needed to maintain inventory levels. Report on obsolete parts, products, and materials and work with the team to determine a course of action. Assign BIN locations and manage inventory placement, cleanliness, and organization of product and materials throughout the warehouse. Ability to find and source items from multiple qualified suppliers as needed. Work with Mechanical Production Manager to find suppliers that would engage in strategic stocking of long lead-time, high dollar items. Oversee inventory adjustments such as monthly WIP, consumables, negative inventory, and project tracking. Communicating with production to ensure assembly entries are matching physical movement of product. Oversee site transfers as necessary. Receive completed part assembly orders from production to fill Bills of Materials as well as create new assemblies to improve manufacturing efficiency. Check status and track orders as requested by team or customers. Maintain inventory area to ensure it is clean and well organized which may include assembly of new shelf locations and labeling of new inventory item locations . Communicates with AP/AR as needed to facilitate resolution of receiving/invoicing issues. Heavy lifting of up to 80 lbs. Identify and escalate safety issues. This position will be cross-trained to cover mission-critical duties for the Mechanical and Chemical Production Supervisors including sales order entry and processing during necessary times.
